SPHERE OF SOULS: Former SUN CAGED Fronman To Release New Album

SPHERE OF SOULS, the Dutch progressive metal formation featuring ex-SUN CAGED vocalist André Vuurboom and guitar virtuoso Anand Mahangoe, are set to release their debut album, "From the Ashes", through Lion Music on April 21. The album is of a conceptual nature and contains 13 tracks encompassing a wide range of influences and styles. Production, engineering, mixing and mastering duties were handled by Joost van den Broek (ex-SUN CAGED, STAR ONE, AYREON), who is also responsible for all of the keyboard parts. Samples from the album and a short preview video can be found at www.sphereofsouls.com.

The release of "From the Ashes" will be preceded by a live show with fellow Dutch prog metallers ULYSSES at Loose End in Reeuwijk (near Gouda), the Netherlands, on April 1. A prestigious support slot with German prog veterans VANDEN PLAS will follow on April 2 at P60 in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Tickets for the VANDEN PLAS show are already on sale via www.ticketservice.nl.
