SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND 2006: Sayreville Show Filmed For DVD Release

According to attendees at last night's (July 15) stop of the Sounds of the Underground 2006 tour in Sayreville, New Jersey, the concert was filmed for an upcoming DVD release, tentatively due next year. The following bands performed at the event:

The "Sounds of the Underground Live: Volume 1" DVD was released on June 20, 2006 via DRT Entertainment. The disc, which documents the the inaugural Sounds of the Underground tour, was taped on July 2, 2005 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville and features performances from 16 of the 17 artists who participated in the tour. Along with over 90 minutes of performance footage, the DVD also features vignettes on every band on the tour, along with a host of hilarious "guest interview" segments from members of GWAR, EVERY TIME I DIE and THROWDOWN. The DVD was filmed by Doug Spangenberg of Highroller Studios (LAMB OF GOD's "Killadelphia"). A teaser clip for the "Sounds of the Underground Live: Volume 1" DVD can be viewed at this location.
