SOUNDGARDEN Singer CHRIS CORNELL: New Solo Song 'Worried Moon' Available For Streaming

September 17, 2015

SOUNDGARDEN singer Chris Cornell has released a new song called "Worried Moon" via VEVO. Check it out below. The track is taken from Cornell's new album, "Higher Truth", which will be released on Friday, September 18 via Universal Music Enterprises (UMe),and fans can pre-order the deluxe version of the album, which contains four bonus tracks. Produced by Brendan O'Brien (BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, PEARL JAM, NEIL YOUNG),"Higher Truth" showcases Cornell's constant evolution as a master songwriter, lyricist and musical craftsman — telling human stories which transcend musical genres. Inspired by the stark arrangements of musicians like Nick Drake, Daniel Johnston and White Album-era BEATLES, Cornell creates a musical universe unlike anything he has done before.

In celebration of the album's release, on Thursday September 17, Cornell will perform "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart" live on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". To watch the performance, tune in to NBC at 11:35/10:35c (check local listings).

Cornell will kick off the "Higher Truth" acoustic tour on September 18 in San Diego, California at the Balboa Theatre, stopping at famed North American venues like the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Massey Hall in Toronto and more before winding down on November 4 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Orpheum Theatre.

The deluxe version of "Higher Truth" will contain four bonus tracks.
