SOULGRIND To Film New Video Next Week

October 6, 2009

SOULGRIND, the Finnish band featuring former LULLACRY frontwoman Tanja "Whisper Lilith" Kemppainen (a.k.a. Tanya),entered the studio on September 14 to begin recording the group's ninth album, "The Tuoni Pathway", for an early 2010 release via U.K.'s Femme Metal Records.

Commented the band: "We have finished doing the vocals for one song and the whole thing is getting into the shape. Damn, it sounds good. Tanya Lilith did her job for 'The Call Of The Dancing Waters' more than great; excellent woman! It seems that this song shall be THE song for the video. We shall start shooting for that on 16th of October."

"The Tuoni Pathway" track listing:

01. The Call Of Dancing Waters
02. The Song Of Tomorrow
03. My Sweet Thought Of Death

A demo version of the song "Farewell To Misery" is available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. The track — which appeared on the "Demonic and Divine" compilation (Femme Metal Records) — is "a tale of an old couple still in love after 50, heading to death, so enjoy the dark ride," according to the band.
