SOUL EMBRACED Parts Ways With Guitarist

Little Rock, Arkansas-based band SOUL EMBRACED has parted ways with guitarist Devin Castle. The group says in a statement, "We love Devin and wish him all the best with his other projects ALTUS POCKET and THE VAIL. SOUL EMBRACED will continue with a new guitarist next year when we get ready to record the new record."

SOUL EMBRACED's first studio album since 2003, "Dead Alive", was released on April 29, 2008 through Solid State Records. The CD was produced by Barry Poynter (LIVING SACRIFICE, ZAO) and was mixed by HATE ETERNAL/former MORBID ANGEL guitarist Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD).

The band released an EP (1999's "The Fleshless" EP), and three albums (2000's "For The Incomplete", 2002's "This Is My Blood", and 2003's "Immune") over a five-year span. SOUL EMBRACED's debut album, "For the Incomplete", was re-released in 2003 by the independent label Blood and Ink Records.
