SOILWORK Begin Recording New Album

Swedish melodic death thrashers SOILWORK have entered Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO) to begin recording their sixth album, tentatively due in early 2005 through Nuclear Blast Records. Next week, the recording sessions will be moving to the Fascination Street studios in Örebro.

With regards to the new material, SOILWORK vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid recently said, "In my ears it sounds like a mixture between 'Natural Born Chaos' (2002) and our latest effort, 'Figure Number Five' (2003) with a slight and interesting development."
