SOILENT GREEN: Collection Of GLENN RAMBO-Era Recordings To Be Released Via HOUSECORE

Housecore Records, the label run by DOWN/ex-PANTERA frontman Philip Anselmo, is planning to release an album from SOILENT GREEN entitled "The Glenn Rambo Years". The CD, for which there is no release date yet, will include material that was recorded in the late '80s and early '90s, featuring the band's original vocalist, Glenn Rambo.

Glenn was SOILENT GREEN's vocalist from 1988 to 1993. He was found dead alongside his mother in their Violet, Louisiana home on October 1, 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

A rare video clip of SOILENT GREEN performing the song "Mad Scientist" on June 30, 1989 at Storyville Jazz Hall in New Orleans can be viewed below. (NOTE: The lights don't come on until 1:41 into the five-minute clip.)

SOILENT GREEN's lineup in the video:

Glenn Rambo: Vocals
Donovan Punch: Guitar
Brian Patton: Guitar
Marcel Trenchard: Bass
Tommy Buckley: Drums
