SODOM Teams Up With German Schlager Singer For Public Service Announcement

Veteran German thrashers SODOM were joined on stage by 73-year-old Tunisian-born German schlager singer Roberto Blanco on the last night of their European tour on February 20 at Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Their performance of Blanco's 1972 hit "Ein Bisschen SpaƟ Muss Sein", a renowned German party song, was filmed for the German Alzheimer's Association's public service announcement, which will begin airing on German television soon.

SODOM's new album, "In War And Pieces", entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 64. The CD was released in North America on January 11 via SPV/Steamhammer.
