SOCIETY 1 Guitarist Working On IDEA KILLER Project

November 18, 2007

SOCIETY 1 guitarist Stephen Helmer is collaborating with Marshall Beck (REBIRTH, REIGN OF VENGEANCE) on the IDEA KILLER project.

IDEA KILLER lineup is as follows:

Marshall Beck - Vocals
Idea Killer - Guitars
Dean Davenport - Drums
Scot Smally - Bass

Commented Helmer: "It has been a VERY long time coming for this project to come together.

"Let me be very clear in that I also play guitar in SOCIETY 1 while doing this project at the same time. That is my life. I don't just claim music is my life — I live it 24 hours a day every day seven days a week! Being a guitarist all of my natural born life I am creative in that same right so that is why I do IDEA KILLER which is primarily my own songs.

"Dean, Scot and Marshall will be working on much more complex arrangements of the material you hear on [the project's MySpace page]. Expect a drastic change in the tunes when they are finally released in late 2008.

"For the next nine months or so I am focusing my guitar playing on SOCIETY 1 music while Marshall, Dean and Scot lay down drums and bass for IDEA KILLER. Putting their own special flavor into it all! The band is seeking a suitable label for this situation as well."
