SMASHING PUMPKINS' video for its new single, "Tarantula", has been posted at Spinner.com. The clip was filmed last month in Atlanta.

"Tarantula" comes off the group's new album, "Zeitgeist", which is scheduled to arrive on July 10. The entire CD is available for streaming at this location.

The PUMPKINS have created some controversy online with the announcement that "Zeitgeist" would come out with four different track listings for different retailers. Three of the four each contain a bonus track not found on any of the others, forcing fans to buy all four for the complete set. In addition, Best Buy, Target and iTunes have been named as the participating retailers, with fans chastising the group for not doing anything for independent record stores.

The PUMPKINS will perform on CBS-TV's "Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday, July 9 and Friday, July 13. Those appearances will follow the band's participation in the New Jersey Live Earth concert on July 7.
