SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR Frontman Producing New WALLS OF JERICHO EP

October 17, 2007

Detroit's WALLS OF JERICHO has tapped SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor to produce its new EP. The band is recording the effort over a 14-day period at Corey's home studio in Iowa. "We have begun tracking five songs and obviously we're all very excited," said drummer Dustin Schoenhofer.

The forthcoming EP will be included with WALLS OF JERICHO's "Live in South America" DVD, which was filmed this past August and is tentatively scheduled for release in March 2008 via Trustkill.

Taylor met WALLS OF JERICHO when the band shared the stage with STONE SOUR on The Family Values Tour. Corey said in a statement, "I love this band, and the fact that their trust in me makes me incredibly grateful. I'm so excited to do this — it's going to be amazing!!! I've never produced anything like this before, so I'm going a little crazy. I can't wait."

WALLS OF JERICHO is fronted by Candace Kucsulain, who defines the word "intense," whether melodically singing or delivering earth-shattering screams. Rounded out by Chris Rawson (guitar),Mike Hasty (guitar) and Aaron Ruby (bass) the band has been touring relentlessly in support of its third album, "With Devils Amongst Us All".
