SLIPKNOT, FAITH NO MORE, JUDAS PRIEST, SOUNDGARDEN Confirmed For Australia's SOUNDWAVE

August 20, 2014

JUDAS PRIEST, SLIPKNOT, FAITH NO MORE, SOUNDGARDEN, LAMB OF GOD and FEAR FACTORY are among the confirmed bands for Australia's Soundwave XV festival, set to take place February 21-22 at Bonython Park in Adelaide and Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne and February 28- and March 1 at Olympic Park in Sydney and Brisbane Showgrounds in Brisbane.

According to Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah, running Soundwave as a two-day festival means fewer clashes and longer sets. He is also promising better staging, production and infrastructure.

"In recent years we have lost great bands over too many bands wanting to play after dark," he says. "This new set-up also gives us twice the dark. I am also hoping that this will give fans better value for money and a less stressful day."
