SLAGMAUR Signs With BLACK HATE PRODUCTIONS

January 14, 2007

Norwegian black metallers SLAGMAUR have inked a deal with Germany's Black Hate Productions.

Commented the band: "After a long period of searching for the right label,
SLAGMAUR has finally setteled down with the offer given by Black Hate. The offers have been numerous, but none of them could meet the demands set by SLAGMAUR.

"We in SLAGMAUR feel that Black Hate is the right label for us, mainly because of Black Hate's dedication to the underground and ideological views."

SLAGMAUR's first release through Black Hate will be the "Svin" demo, which launched the "Three Protocols of Fosen" trilogy. The "Svin" CD and vinyl will be released in Europe and USA next month. SLAGMAUR's own label, Nekk Brekk Records, will distribute the release in Norway.

Regarding the band's musical approach, SLAGMAUR's General Gribbsphiiser stated, "The sounds has been arranged in a distorted audial enviroment that makes the soundscape appear as twisted and sinister. This challenges the listener to really get into the music, and too separate the different elements inbedded in our compositions. Hopefully this will make the listeners create their own audial image on a subconscious level depending on their state of mind."
