SKELETONWITCH Unveils New Video

February 27, 2009

"Sacrifice For The Slaughtergod", the new music video from Ohio quintet SKELETONWITCH, can be viewed below. The track comes from the group's acclaimed Prosthetic Records debut, "Beyond The Permafrost". "It's killer that the video [has finally been released]," says guitarist Scott Hedrick. "It's also good to know that Mullet Chad, our drummer, and I didn't spend an entire day covered in guts all for naught! We shot that thing months ago and just finally got rid of the gut-stink! I hope everyone enjoys the video. We had a great time shooting it and are proud of the final product."

SKELETONWITCH has performed more than 250 concerts over the past two years and continues to add dates to its busy spring schedule, which commences tonight with an in-store performance at Criminal Records in Atlanta. The group will remain in town tomorrow to play the inaugural Scion Rock Fest. Soon after, the band will team with labelmates KYLESA for the "Southern Discomfort" tour, which includes a stop at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. SKELETONWITCH will then spend April touring alongside AMON AMARTH.

"Beyond The Permafrost" is SKELETONWITCH's second full-length and third release overall after 2006's "Worship The Witch" EP and 2004's "At One With The Shadows", both independent, self-financed releases.
