SIX FEET UNDER's BARNES Says 'Fuck You' To All The 'Haters'

April 25, 2003

SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes has posted another studio report via the group's official web site.

It reads as follows:

"Hey, everyone — I'm back from Miami. I'm all finished layin' down the vocals to our new CD — 'Bringer Of Blood'. I had a great time recording this fuckin' CD — man, I really think there some hellish material all around on this one!! And I know for a fact all you die-hard [SIX FEET UNDER] fans are gonna be into this. Just want to say thanks to Chris Carroll. He did a great job keepin' things rollin' along behind the mixing board at the Hit Factory Criteria, and really helped me achieve what I intended to do vocally — thanx Merrill!! And since it's my debut producing a studio CD — I wanted to get started early and try getting a mix together. We got around to mixing about 5 songs. Ii think we definitely got a jump on things and have a good idea how we want this to sound, but we still have some work ahead of us. We also did some ruffs on the other 6 songs. The title track will be released in Germany as a German-language-lyric version!!! That was a challenge!! We aren't quite sure at this point who will complete the mixes — or what studio that will be — but we are talking to a couple different spots and various people to get the mix done. I just want this CD to sound its best, We're are all real excited to get this one out to you all. And for all the haters, hope you hate this one too. Oh, yeah, by the way — fuck you!"
