SIRENIA: 'The Other Side' Video Posted Online

SIRENIA, the Norwegian/Danish gothic metal band featuring former TRISTANIA guitarist/vocalist Morten Veland, has posted its video for the song "The Other Side" at YouTube.com. The clip was helmed by the renowed Serbian production company I-Code (DEATHSTARS, HAMMERFALL, BLIND GUARDIAN, SCAR SYMMETRY), which previously worked with the group on the "My Mind's Eye" video.

"The Other Side" comes off SIRENIA's latest CD, "Nine Destinies and a Downfall", which was released on March 9 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded at Jailhouse studios in Norway with engineer Hans Eidsgard and Soundsuite studios in France with Terje Refsnes and was mixed and mastered at Antfarm studios in Aarhus, Denmark with Tue Madsen.

SIRENIA made its live debut with new singer Monika Pedersen on February 24 at the Tochka club in Moscow, Russia. Check out pictures from the concert at Russia's Darkside e-zine.

Pedersen joined SIRENIA as the replacement for Henriette Bordvik, who quit the band in September 2005.

SIRENIA in 2005 signed a new record deal with Nuclear Blast. Prior to that, the band released two successful albums (2002's "At Sixes and Sevens" and 2004's "An Elixir for Existence") and in 2004 toured Europe with TIAMAT, PAIN and THEATRE OF TRAGEDY.
