SIRENIA Drummer Forced To Sit Out Tour, Replacement Named

November 23, 2004

SIRENIA drummer Jonathan Perez will be forced to sit out the band's European tour with TIAMAT, THEATRE OF TRAGEDY and PAIN. According to a posting on the group's web site, "Jonathan does not have the possibility to join the up-coming European tour, but everyone can be assured that there is absolutely no need to worry. Roland Navratil (EDENBRIDGE) will fill in on drums and the tour will go on just as planned, with full fucking power! We are looking forward to see you all there, in one town or another."

SIRENIA, the Norwegian gothic metal band featuring former TRISTANIA guitarist/vocalist Morten Veland, recently announced the addition of session guitarist Bjørnar Landa for their upcoming tour. Landa joins the group as the temporary replacemen for guitarist/"clean" vocalist Kristian Gundersen, who left the band this past summer due to his commitments to his other groups, NEW BREED and ELUSIVE. A complete listing of the currently confirmed tour dates can be found by clicking here.

SIRENIA have posted an audio sample of the title track of their new EP, entitled "Sirenian Shores" (Napalm),at this location.
