SINNER To Record WACKEN 2005 Appearance For Upcoming DVD

September 29, 2004

SINNER, the long-running German band featuring PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner, will play a very special show at next year's Wacken Open Air festival. "We tried to bring the band back together for this years event, but it was too short termed and better to prepare this exciting event with the needed time and the right attitude," Mat writes in a posting on his web site. "We're hard at work to bring back the original 'Comin' Out Fighting' guitar team of Mathias 'Don' Dieth and Angel Schleifer back the stage of Wacken for an exclusive set of classic songs, along with Tom, Frank, Fritz ... and some more suprise guests are on our list. We will shoot the concert for a forthcoming DVD release. Join the party and the SINNER choir, 'cause history will be made and we're talking about doing some more shows around next years Wacken Open Air!"

In other news, Mat is scheduled to sing some backing vocals on the new HAMMERFALL album, which is currently being recorded at Lundgaard Studios in Denmark for a tentative March 7, 2005 release through Nuclear Blast Records. Mat had previously collaborated with HAMMERFALL singer Joacim Cans on the material for Joacim's debut solo album (under the CANS banner),"Beyond the Gates".
