SILVERCHAIR are among the artists that will perform at WaveAid, a once-in-a-generation event to generate much needed funds for the millions of people whose lives have been irreversibly impacted by the recent tsunami disaster in Asia.

WaveAid, a major concert event with over eight hours of music, will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday, January 29 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.

SILVERCHAIR will perform alongside a "who's who" of Australian artists, including MIDNIGHT OIL, POWDERFINGER, JOHN BUTLER TRIO, FINN BROTHERS, PETE MURRAY, NICK CAVE, MISSY HIGGINS and THE WAIFS.

Tickets for the show will be only $58 (incl. GST) + booking fee. They will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 17 from Ticketek.
