SILVER: Third Album Due In September

June 27, 2003

SILVER, the all-star project featuring vocalist Gary Barden (ex-MSG),guitarist Bernie Torme (ex-OZZY OSBOURNE, GILLAN, DESPERADO),keyboardist Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, ex-MSG, TEN),bassist Bob Daisley (ex-OZZY OSBOURNE) and drummer Bertram Engel, will issue their third album, entitled "Intruder", in late September through Point Music Records.

In related news, Bob Daisley and fellow ex-OZZY OSBOURNE bandmate Lee Kerslake (drums) have issued a statement refuting parts of the news story posted here a couple of days ago. According to the duo, they were not in any capacity "back-up" players to Ozzy Osbourne, but were in fact part of the original BLIZZARD OF OZZ band alongside Randy Rhoads that recorded the 1980 "Blizzard Of Ozz" and 1981 "Diary Of A Madman" albums. Furthermore, the pair's lawsuit against Ozzy over unpaid royalties has NOT been thrown out, as erroneously stated here, and is "ongoing and very much so." BLABBERMOUTH.NET regrets the error.
