July 29, 2005

Colorado metallers SILENCER have announced the addition of vocalist Chad Armstrong to the group's ranks. "Chad's brutal yet versatile voice coupled with his limitless enthusiasm made him the obvious choice during the audition process, and the band welcome him with open arms to the thrash metal machine," the group wrwite on their web site. "Chad comes from a strong backbone of very successful Denver area bands, first being FOMOFUIAB and more recently ASSISTED SUICIDE ASSEMBLY. He now joins SILENCER and pushes his abilities in yet another metal direction.

"Chad has re-recorded the already tracked session vocals for SILENCER's upcoming full-length record in an astonishing two afternoons, now adding yet another dimension to the album's ferocity and the band's newest approach to their evolving thrash sound. The band are putting the final touches on mix, and are currently working towards a late '05 release for the record.
