SIG:AR:TYR: 'Beyond The North Winds' Artwork Revealed; Samples Available

June 5, 2008

Canadian folk/pagan metal act SIG:AR:TYR has revealed the cover artwork for its upcoming second full-length release, "Beyond The North Winds", due at the end of June via Morbid Winter Records.

The CD booklet is comprised of photos taken by SIG:AR:TYR mainman Daemonskald and artfully treated by designer Paul McCarroll, who has worked with PRIMORDIAL, SCALD and THE CLAN DESTINED.

SIG:AR:TYR has also released two new tracks, "Under The Mountain" and "Etched In Stone", from the forthcoming CD on the project's MySpace page.

"Beyond The North Winds" is the follow-up to 2005's "Sailing The Seas Of Fate", and sees SIG:AR:TYR developing a stronger metal sensibility, yet still retaining the acoustic guitar ambience and epic atmosphere that is a hallmark of SIG:AR:TYR's sound.

"Beyond The North Winds" track listing:

01. King Of The World
02. Beyond The North Winds
03. Pale Autumnal Moon
04. Under The Mountain
05. Sword From An Unknown Hand
06. Etched In Stone
07. Among The Ruins
08. The Way
09. Far Away
