Shots Fired Outside L.A. GUNS Concert In Omaha; 16-Year-Old Arrested
According to KMTV.com, a 16-year-old is in custody after police say more than 10 shots were fired Sunday night (August 31) in the parking lot outside the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska where L.A. GUNS (featuring singer Phil Lewis) was performing. No one was injured.
The shots were fired about 10:50 p.m., about an hour before Septemberfest was supposed to shut down for the night. Witnesses tell police the shots came from gunfire exchanged between two cars. Members of the gang unit reportedly spotted the person firing and nabbed him. Six people in all were questioned; a police spokesperson says only the 16-year-old was arrested.
