SHINEDOWN Schedules New York City Signing Session, Acoustic Performance

April 14, 2009

Jacksonville, Florida-based hard rock/post-grunge band SHINEDOWN will take part in an acoustic performance and signing session this Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. for "Record Store Day" at J&R Music World in New York City. The store is located at 23 Park Row.

SHINEDOWN played an all-acoustic set last Tuesday (April 7) at the House Of Blues in Orlando with NUMBER ONE CONTENDER opening. The NUMBER ONE CONTENDER guitarist sat in on a handful of SHINEDOWN songs since they aparently couldn't be performed with just one guitar.

Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be viewed below.

As part of the CBS "Early Show"'s "Second Cup Cafe" series, Jacksonville, SHINEDOWN will play live on the morning of Saturday, April 18. The group will perform "Second Chance" acoustically as well as a couple other teasers throughout the show. The show airs live at 7:00 a.m. Check your local listings for more information.

"The Sound of Madness", SHINEDOWN's third studio effort, has sold around 300,000 copies in the U.S. since coming out last June.
