SHAITAN MAZAR To Record New Demo

February 7, 2004

SHAITAN MAZAR, the new band featuring former NILE members Chief Spires (bass, vocals) and John Ehlers (guitar),have been working very hard in their rehearsal room to complete the writing for their next recording, according to a posting on their official web site. A five- or six-song demo will shortly be recorded featuring the following cuts, among others: "Truth Defies Reason", "Rite of Passage", and "Fallen Forsaken". Expect the demo to be ready early spring 2004.

In other news, "work on the SHAITAN MAZAR DVD is almost complete and is turning out great," the band write. "It will include a video for 'Baptizme', an entire live set from the January 9, 2004 performance at The Masquerade in Atlanta complete with the 'Crucifixion' by our brothers at Psychotic Suspensions, backstage footage, and interviews with members of the band. Special thanks to all involved with making this happen!"

Upcoming SHAITAN MAZAR shows:

Mar. 05 – Seneca, SC @ Blackeys
Mar. 06 - Spartanburg, SC @ Ground Zero
