SHAITAN MAZAR: New CD To Contain Seven Tracks

SHAITAN MAZAR, the new band featuring former NILE members Chief Spires (bass, vocals) and John Ehlers (guitar),are currently at Retread Studio recording their new release, due out this summer.

"Brett [Goode] has finished the drum tracks as of Sunday," Ehlers writes on the band's web site. "Next week Robert [Dirr] and I will begin recording the guitar tracks. It looks like a delicious 7 tracks will be served with sauce de la SHAITAN. Currently Brett has an A+."

The band had originally planned a five-song release but were inspired while recording drum tracks and have added two more songs, according to John.
