SHAITAN MAZAR: Former NILE Members Release Debut Demo

SHAITAN MAZAR, the new band featuring former NILE members Chief Spires (bass, vocals) and John Ehlers (guitar),have posted their entire four-song demo in MP3 format at their official web site.

The tracks available for download are as follows:

SHAITAN MAZAR's musical style is being described by Spires as "ranging from the most extreme attack to metal, ambient, melodic passages. Our purpose is, basically, no limits."

The band, who are completed by Jason Hohenstein (vocals),Robert Dirr (guitars) and Brett Goode (drums),are currently shopping the demo to interested labels with a view towards releasing their debut album in 2004.

SHAITAN MAZAR will make their live debut on Friday, October 31 at Ground Zero in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Also appearing on the bill will be SOUTH PAW, JUGGERNAUT, and MORTUFAIRY. A flyer for the gig can be viewed at this location.
