SHADOWS FALL To Play Free Show For MTV Canada

Massachusetts metallers SHADOWS FALL have issued the following update:

"We're just about to head out on tour with AVENGED SEVENFOLD and while we're in Canada we thought we would stop by MTV Canada and play a few songs for them to air. 100 lucky fans will get to see this (and maybe get on TV) for free. This special show is on September 11 at the Masonic Temple on 888 Yonge Street in Toronto. Tickets are available to anyone over 16 so call 1-888-491-6888 or email [email protected] to get them."

SHADOWS FALL will support AVENGED SEVENFOLD on the following dates:

Sep. 06 - Huntington, WV - Harris Riverfront Park
Sep. 07 - Baltimore, MD - Ram's Head Live
Sep. 09 - Quebec, QC - Pavillon de la Jeunesse
Sep. 10 - Montreal, QC - Metropolis
Sep. 11 - Toronto, ON - The Sound Academy

SHADOWS FALL's video for the song "Forevermore" can be viewed below. According to the band, the clip is "a cool combination of raw live footage from a show in Allentown, PA intertwined with action from the Red Bull Air Race series. Fast planes and fast riffs. Perfect."

SHADOWS FALL is currently writing material for its new album, tentatively due in 2009. Vocalist Brian Fair stated in July, "So far, we have the skeletons of two songs coming together, with a third on the way. I am not sure where things will head in the future, but these songs are definitely on the fast and technical side of the SHADOWS FALL sound. Lots of changes, tons of thrash riffs, and guitar solos galore."
