SHADOWS FALL To Guest On IRON MAIDEN Singer's Radio Show

February 27, 2007

Massachusetts-based metal band SHADOWS FALL will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Saturday, March 3 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. time (between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST) at BBC.co.uk.

SHADOWS FALL has posted the second of six webisodes documenting the making of the group's new album, "Threads of Life". Episode number 2 can be seen at this location.

As previously reported, SHADOWS FALL was featured in last week's Kerrang! Audio Podcast, which can be downloaded at this location. In the episode, SHADOWS FALL stops by and gives the listeners the lowdown on its forthcoming album, "Threads of Life". Frontman Brian Fair also reveals which film makes him cry like a tiny baby. There's music from CLUTCH, GLASSJAW and MACHINE HEAD as chosen by K!'s Terry Bezer.

SHADOWS FALL's new single, "Redemption", is available for streaming at the band's MySpace page. The cover artwork for the single has been posted online at The Syndicate.

BLABBERMOUTH.NET earlier in the month exclusively revealed the artwork for the new SHADOWS FALL album, "Threads of Life", due in Europe on April 2 via Roadrunner Records and April 3 in North America via Atlantic Records. Check it out at this location.

SHADOWS FALL will film a video for "Redemption" shortly with director Zach Merck (ATREYU, CONVERGE). The group recently wrapped up the mixing process with Zeuss (HATEBREED, UNEARTH). Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, VELVET REVOLVER) produced the disc in Los Angeles at Dave Grohl's Studio 606.

SHADOWS FALL will team up with STONE SOUR and LACUNA COIL for the latest installment of the Jägermeister Music Tour, which is set to kick off March 23 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
