SHADOWS FALL Taps DARK DAY SUNDAY Bassist For U.S. Tour

Ed Lanouette (DARK DAY SUNDAY) is filling in for SHADOWS FALL bassist Paul Romanko on the Massachusetts metal band's current U.S. tour.

Ed earned his bachelor's degree at Berklee College Of Music and graduated with a master's degree in jazz performance from the Boston Conservatory. He cites his main influences as Jaco Pastorius and BLACK SABBATH's Geezer Butler.

In addition to Lanouette, DARK DAY SUNDAY features in its ranks FATES WARNING guitarist Frank Aresti and SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner.

Fan-filmed video footage of SHADOWS FALL's April 27 concert at Downtown in Little Rock, Arkansas can be seen below.

SHADOWS FALL's new album, "Fire From The Sky", is scheduled for a May 15 release via Razor & Tie. Recorded at Zing Studios in late 2011, the CD reunites SHADOWS FALL with longtime friend, producer/engineer and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE/TIMES OF GRACE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, ALL THAT REMAINS). The album was mixed by Brian Virtue and features some of the band's most complex and melodic material in years.

The cover artwork for "Fire From The Sky" was designed by Aaron Marsh of Forefathers.
