SHADOWS FALL's BITTNER Named No. 1 'Up And Coming Drummer'

May 11, 2004

SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner has been officially named the #1 Up and Coming Drummer in Modern Drummer magazine's 2004 Readers' Poll. The Readers' Poll results will be in the July 2004 issue that should hit the stands later this month.

SHADOWS FALL's highly anticipated fourth full-length album, "The War Within", is scheduled for an early September release through Century Media Records. The group will also headline the Strhess Tour alongside AS I LAY DYING, HIMSA and REMEMBERING NEVER, which kicks off July 16.

The band will be reserving tickets for fans, everyone on their mailing list and web site, before they go on sale to the general public. This way fans get the chance to order tickets first, with cheaper service and shipping fees. Unfortunately, because of venue restrictions, it can't be done for every show. This is a first-come, first-served online ticket-ordering system. Four tickets will be the maximum per order and they are already on sale. Go to www.shadowsfall.com to sign up to be on the mailing list and take advantage of the ticket presale for the tour.
