SHADOWS FALL: European Tour Dates Announced

April 14, 2005

Massachusetts-based metal quintet SHADOWS FALL have announced several European tour dates, appearing at select festivals as well as opening for SLIPKNOT. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Jun. 02 – Bologna, ITA @ Flippaut Festival
Jun. 3-5 - Nürburgring / Nürnberg, GER - Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park
Jun. 06 – Amsterdam, NETH @ Paradiso (w/ SLIPKNOT)
Jun. 12 – Nottingham, UK @ Download Festival
Jun. 13 – London, UK @ Astoria (The Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2005 w/ ANTHRAX, NIGHTWISH, TRIVIUM)

Hits Daily Double, the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS, recently reported that SHADOWS FALL are currently in negotiations with two major labels following the fulfillment of their commitment to Century Media Records. The band, who sold nearly 250,000 copies of their latest CD, "The War Within", in the U.S., had previously indicated that they were very happy with Century Media and had no intentions of signing with a bigger label. However, that now appears to have changed, if these latest reports are to be believed.

SHADOWS FALL have been confirmed as one of the main-stage performers at this year's Ozzfest beginning on July 15 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
