SHADOWKEEP Name New Singer And Drummer

October 20, 2005

U.K. power metallers SHADOWKEEP have formally anounced the addition of vocalist Richie Wicks (ex-ANGEL WITCH, TYGERS OF PAN TANG) and drummer Scott Higham (ex-SAMSON, ANGEL WITCH) to the group's ranks.

Richie and Scott join original guitar duo Chris Allen and Nicki Robson, plus U.S.-based bassist Stony Grantham, for what is proving to be "the heaviest, prolific and most productive band lineup in SHADOWKEEP's history," according to a press release.

"Scott was delighted to rejoin the band following the transatlantic success of 'A Chaos Theory', on which he played, and Richie turned down his former band the TYGERS' pleas for him to rejoin them this summer in order to concentrate on the 'KEEP's new as-yet-untitled third album as a full-time member," according to the press release. "The band is set to commence the recording process at longtime producer Karl Groom's studio in November for an early 2006 release."
