SEVEN WITCHES: 'Big Change' Coming Next Week

April 25, 2005

SEVEN WITCHES guitarist Jack Frost (ex-SAVATAGE) has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Hey brothers of metal. Well its time to give you a full update on the WITCHES, BRONX CASKET COMPANY, and my next solo CD, 'Out in The Cold'. Well, WITCHES will have a big change in the next week. It will sadden a lot of people but we hope you'll understand. We have about six tunes we love that are much more in-your-face type of tunes. This will be our most aggressive album to date. The title will be 'Metal Nation'. Stay tuned.

"In Frost land, God, it's going unreal. The new CD will blow a lot of people's minds. Just returned from the studio where Patrick Johansson, drummer from Yngwie's band, just killed. I would like to say he's the best, and really blew my mind with his over-the-top drumming skills. Also Neil Turbin, ex-ANTHRAX singer, just did the vocals on a tune call 'Crucifixion'. Wow, he's got some set of pipes. Terry Ilous from XYZ is finishing the vocals for the title track, 'Out in the Cold', this week. This will warm a lot of you WHITESNAKE fans. Eric Ragno has also finished all the keys and arrangements on the FOREIGNER tune 'Cold as Ice' and a special orchestrated version of 'Passage to the Other Side' for all you WITCHES fans.

"In the coming week, Ted Poley will do the vocals for a old BABYS tune 'Head First'. My old partner Joey Vera added some killer bass tricks to this one. I feel this tune has taken a THIN LIZZY shape. Also Alan and Kevin from NON-FICTION will finish up vocals and bass on a tune called 'Hell or High Water'. Stand back, all you old TROUBLE fans. More guests to be added this week.

"The BRONX CASKET COMPANY with members of OVERKILL and the MISFITS. This record will see the light of day in September. We are just finishing up the video. Very nightmare before Christmas. This record will come to be a huge surprise. We will also release a single with a few bonus tracks down the road. Very proud of this — it's a lot different, and Mike Romeo from SYMPHONY X mixed this, he just took us to a new level.

"In other news the band ARTIC FLAME just signed to Mausoleum Records. I spent over six weeks producing, arranging and mixing, with the help of Don Strenecker from Mix-O-Lydian studios. Also, just finished up with MALAKIS REIN. Producing and mixing their tune 'Hell is for Heroes' on the upcoming LIZZY BORDEN tribute. I also snuck a outro solo in there. What can I say? I love LIZZY, so this was fun.

"And last but not least the DVD is just smokin'. Just saw a lot of the footage its killer. This will be a major treat for WITCHES fans old and new.

"Well, back to work I go. Stay metal and as always thanks for the friendship."
