SERJ TANKIAN Editing Concert Footage From FOO FIGHTERS Tour

April 1, 2008

SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman Serj Tankian has issued the following update:

"I had a camera following me around on some of our latest shows and got some AWESOME material from both the shows with the FOO FIGHTERS at the Forum, San Fransisco, and Austin at South by Southwest (SXSW). We are working on editing it now and should be ready in the next few weeks. Also while at SXSW, I played a show for the video game Rock Band (which is on PS3 and XBox). You can now go and download Beethoven's Cunt (to play on your console) and some behind-the-scenes footage.

"I wanted to let you all know that Serjical Strike Records [Serj's record label] is re-releasing the BUCKETHEAD & FRIENDS album with a new and special bonus track. It will be in stores April 8th and the bonus track is named 'Shen Chi'. You can also order it from our webstore along with some personally signed 'Elect The Dead' items just added to the Serjical Strike store."

Serj Tankian was forced to postpone several dates on his European tour due to illness.

Tickets purchased for the April 1-8 shows will be valid for the rescheduled shows in August-September. Refunds are available from point of sale should you not be able to make the new dates.

As previously reported, Serj Tankian has been added to the lineup of this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, scheduled for April 25-27 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
