SEPULTURA and OBITUARY have been confirmed for the Ilha do Ermal festival, set to take place August 28-30 in Vieira do Minho, Portugal. More acts will be announced soon."A-Lex" — SEPULTURA's first LP to be recorded without either of the founding Cavalera brothers (Max and Igor; on guitar/vocals and drums, respectively) — is available in three versions: in a deluxe digipak with an embossed cover, in a regular jewel case and on a vinyl gatefold LP. OBITUARY will release a new concert DVD, tentatively titled "Live Xecution In Bad Berka 2008", in June via Regain Records. The footage for the disc was filmed at last year's Party.San Open Air festival, which was held August 7-9, 2008 in Bad Berka, Germany. OBITUARY recently completed work on the band's new album for a tentative May/June release via Candlelight Records. Vocalist John Tardy stated, "It came out really sick and I cannot wait for you guys to hear it... it is heavy!!" (Thanks: Marcus Tameeris)
