SEPULTURA Drummer Featured On PAINSIDE Track

February 15, 2010

SEPULTURA drummer Jean Dolabella has recorded a guest appearance on the song "God Made Me Unbreakable" from the Brazilian heavy metal band PAINSIDE. The track, which is the theme song for the Brazilian UFC fighter Ronny "Jungle Boy" Torres, is available for streaming on the PAINSIDEMySpace page.

Torres made his debut at the February 6 "UFC 109: Relentless" event, where he lost by decision to Melvin Guillard.

Commented PAINSIDE's Carlos Saione: "Since Ronny a religious guy and had a very tough but determined life story, we made this song for him as a tribute to perseverance and determination in oneself."

PAINSIDE's debut album, "Dark World Burden", will be released in Europe on April 2 via Inner Wound Recordings.

Inspired by the traditional sound of pioneering bands like IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST while adding modern influences from bands such as NEVERMORE and DISTURBED, PAINSIDE's sound is an elaborate and diverse emotional rollercoaster backed by sharp riffs, in-your-face vocals and a crunching sound to color the sonic landscape.
