SCOTT WEILAND Talks To Kansas City's THE BUZZ 96.5 About 'Blaster' Album (Video)

March 25, 2015

Jeriney of The Buzz 96.5 radio station in Kansas City, Missouri recently conducted an interview with former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland. You can now watch the chat below.

As previously reported, Weiland has apologized to fans for his rude behavior at a recent meet-and-greet in Boston. Weiland posted a statement on Facebook in which he wrote, "I’m embarrassed by my behavior and some of the things that I said. Fans don't deserve that. Without our fans and supporters, we would not be able to do what we're doing. I put my all into the show that night and honestly was just beyond exhausted… Either way, I acted like a total asshole and for that I'm truly sorry."

Fans of Weiland wrote online that they were left "disgusted" and "disappointed" after the former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER singer held a VIP meet-and-greet session at the Brighton Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. Three different fans posted their descriptions of the event at a STONE TEMPLE PILOTS fan forum, including one fan who claimed that Weiland said to him, "Let's suck a dick!"

Fans were charged $150 for the brief chance to meet and take a photo with the vocalist.

Weiland and his band THE WALKABOUTS will release their new album, "Blaster", on March 31.

Their next U.S. date is the Welcome To Rockville festival on April 25 in Jacksonville, Florida.
