SCORPIONS To Tour U.S. In The Fall?

According to Pollstar, German hard rock veterans SCORPIONS are scheduled to perform in Clarkston, Michigan at the DTE Energy Music Theatre on Thursday, September 6. More U.S. dates are expected to be announced soon.

A new video interview with SCORPIONS singer Klaus Meine and guitarist Rudolf Schenker is posted on the Nostalgie.fr web site. Click on the movie icon to start the interview. (NOTE: The interview is conducted in English but the rest of the report is in French.)

Audio samples of all 12 songs that are set to appear on the forthcoming SCORPIONS album, "Humanity - Hour 1", are now available at the website of the German online retailer Weltbild.de. Due in Europe at the end of May, the CD was produced by James Michael and co-produced by songwriter/producer Desmond Child, who has worked with such high-profile pop/rock artists as AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, ALICE COOPER, KISS, RICKY MARTIN, CHER, MICHAEL BOLTON and BONNIE TYLER.

SCORPIONS performed the new song "Humanity", on March 24 at a special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of signing the Roman treaty, which became the basis for foundation of the European Union. Watch a video clip of SCORPIONS' performance at YouTube.
