SCARIOT: New Album Update

April 3, 2005

SCARIOT mainman Død (a.k.a. Daniel Olaisen; BLOOD RED THRONE) has posted the following update on the recording sessions for the group's new album:

"I've decided to write one more track, since the album originally only had seven tracks and one cover song. Asgeir [Mickelson; SPIRAL ARCHITECT, BORKNAGAR] is currently working on the fifth song, and within a couple of weeks the drums will by finished. During April, I'll go to Oslo and record all the guitar parts. I've talked to Steve [DiGiorgio; TESTAMENT, SADUS, SEBASTIAN BACH] and he'll come to Norway to start learning the songs and recording them between 18th and 25th of May. Shortly after that, Øyvind [Hægeland; SPIRAL ARCHITECT, ARCTURUS] will do the vocals. We’ve already booked Top Room and the mixing of the album will take place June 1st and one week later the album is supposedly ready to be mastered!"

SCARIOT's last studio album, "Strange to Numbers", was released in 2003.
