SCAR SYMMETRY To Team Up With COMMUNIC For 'Waves Of Pitch Black Decay' European Tour

Sweden's SCAR SYMMETRY will be teaming up with Norway's COMMUNIC for the "Waves of Pitch Black Decay Tour 2006", set to take place late September/early October. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

Oct. 03 - Cafe Central - Weinheim, GER
Oct. 04 - Rockfabrik - Ludwigsburg, GER
Oct. 05 - Knaack - Berlin, GER
Oct. 06 - Rosenhof - Osnabrück, GER
Oct. 07 - Matrix - Bochum, GER
Oct. 08 - Knust - Hamburg, GER
Oct. 09 - Colos-Saal - Aschaffenburg, GER

SCAR SYMMETRY's video for "The Illusionist", a track off their recently released sophomore album, "Pitch Black Progress", debuted on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on July 1.

Praised by Terrorizer magazine for delivering "one of the most progressive sounding death metal albums to come out this year whose virtuosic quality can be attributed to guitarists Per Nilsson and Jonas Kjellgren," Sweden's SCAR SYMMETRY have also remained active on radio charts around the country since the album's North American release on May 2. Recent rankings include: #7 on FMQB and #11 on CMJ Loud Rock.
