SCAR SYMMETRY: New Album Title Announced

November 20, 2007

Swedish metallers SCAR SYMMETRY have issued the following update:

"We're back home from the Live Consternation North American tour, together with KATATONIA, INSOMNIUM and SWALLOW THE SUN. It's been an amazing month and we've had nothing but the best of times. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for coming out each night, checking us out, buying our merch, hanging out, sharing their beer with us and so on. Thank you all for being the coolest ever and for your kind support!

"As goes for what the future holds, we will begin recording our third album, starting December 1st. So far we have 13 songs written, but we're aiming to have another three or four done, before we start sifting through the material, deciding which songs to include on the album. The new disc will go under the name of 'Holographic Universe' and it will most likely see its release in the late spring of 2008, through Nuclear Blast Records.

"Also, out now is the Nuclear Blast All-Stars album Part II, 'Out Of The Dark', written by Peter Wichers (ex-SOILWORK) and featuring Christian Älvestam, among other singers. It's the second and last one of two albums to be released in support of Nuclear Blast 20th anniversary. Check it out!"

A video interview with SCAR SYMMETRY conducted by "Angel of Metal" at this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival, which took place August 16-18 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England, can be viewed below.
