Danish technical death metallers SCAMP have inked a deal with Italy's Scarlet Records. The group's full-length debut, "Mirror Faced Mentality", was produced by Ziggy (ILLDISPOSED, MERCENARY) and was mastered by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MOONSPELL). A late August release is expected.

SCAMP's music is described in a press release as "a mix between the sonic assault of bands such as MESHUGGAH, FEAR FACTORY, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, GOJIRA and CHIMAIRA incorporated with intense melodic passages that add an atmospheric feel to the music."

The band has already established a large following in the Danish underground scene with the release of a critically acclaimed EP, "The New Groove Complex", and intense live shows with such acts as EVERGREY, MNEMIC, MERCENARY and STONEGARD.
