August 27, 2002

Norway's SATYRICON will issue their new studio album, Volcano, on Monday, September 2nd via Capitol Records in most Nordic territories. The album will surface in the rest of Europe in mid-October, according to the band's official web site, while an American release date is still pending.

In other news, SATYRICON have completed shooting a video for the song "Fuel For Hatred" with director Jonas Ã…kerlund (METALLICA, THE PRODIGY, MADONNA). "We are extremely satisfied and can't wait to get started with the editing," the band said in an official statement. "Hopefully the video will be ready for broadcasting late September/early October. We also plan to release it, but that will probably happen towards the end of the year. You're up for a treat!"
