SANGRE ETERNA Featuring Ex-MACHINE HEAD Drummer To Play Benefit Show For Injured Friend

February 19, 2006

Former MACHINE HEAD and current SANGRE ETERNA drummer Chris Kontos has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"Chris Kontos here with a news story all metal and hardcore fans should all know about a really fucked up thing that happened to a close friend of mine that came out to see SANGRE ETERNA's second gig ever with RIGOR MORTIS. She came all the way from Belgium to Oakland for METAL. Her name is Nathalie and she is true blue metal fan to the bone. I know her though MACHINE HEAD and she came to stay with us six years ago, she came back out in November of last year after we talked on MySpace for a while she wanted to see us again and planed a trip to see us. She is a big fan of MACHINE HEAD and still goes to see them in Europe and they treat her to VIP status in Belgium whenever they play over there. So she came out and hung out with us and my new band SANGRE ETERNA. She was really down with us right away, going off on the computer for us pumpping the band to everone that would listen to her about it. It was supper cool of her to help us like that. She went home in December after a stop in Philly. Well....as a surprise she booked a flight to come right back right away and see us open for RIGOR MORTIS at the Pound SF on January 23rd '06, Showing back up at our house 18 hours before the show. It was cool as fuck!!!! It was our second show ever and it was a killer night. We played so well that night, it's just that kind of thing that will make you dig in a play better as a musician if someone is really supporting you like that. She stayed for her birthday on the 30th of January. We all did some sightseeing fun stuff 'till she had to go home on January 9th. Well, we did not get that far.....FLASH to February 3rd and this is where I will add her own words to this [message]."

From the Guitar Center El Cerrito store. And a meet-and-great with some really cool people from the Bay Area who have helped out in a major way so far. $10 to get in the show, $5 for raffle tix at the door. or $25 with raffle ticket, FREE SANGRE ETERNA tee-shirt, one drink ticket and after show pass. ALL OF THE MONEY GOES TO NAT TO HELP WITH BILLS AND LAWYERS!!! We hope you can make it out to this show and show your support for this really cool and one of a kind person.
