A five-and-a-half-minute look at some of the charity work that is near and dear to Sammy Hagar's heart can be viewed below.
Hagar will release his autobiography, titled "Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock", on March 15 via It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
Hagar, the multi-platinum Red Rocker, is best known as the bombastic frontman of VAN HALEN, one of the biggest-selling rock groups in history, and the lead singer of the hard rock group CHICKENFOOT.
"Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock" was acquired by Lisa Sharkey, Senior Vice President and Director of Creative Development for HarperCollins from Frank Weimann, President of The Literary Group International. Senior Editor Matt Harper edited the book.
