SAINT VITUS, DAVE LOMBARDO 7" Singles Part Of 'Volcom Entertainment Vinyl Club'

June 5, 2010

Subscribers to the Volcom Entertainment Vinyl Club have already received the killer split with THE SWORD and YEAR LONG DISASTER, delivering whoop-ass covers by THIN LIZZY and THE SWORD, respectively. Get that record and a handful of new music pressed into colored vinyl in limited, hand-numbered editions when you subscribe.

Coming up is the first new release by SAINT VITUS since reforming the legendary Wino-era lineup with new drummer Henry Vasquez. This is a first for Volcom Entertainment Vinyl Club as both sides of this disc feature classic SAINT VITUS performed live, raw and raucous with extended guitar freakouts courtesy of Dave Chandler. Expect special hand pressed splatter vinyl and almost 16 minutes of music on this bad boy.

Also in the works is a rather interesting record spawned from the mind of one of heavy metal's most esteemed drummers, SLAYER's Dave Lombardo. With one side by his long-running side project PHILM and the flip with a teaser from Lombardo's forthcoming drum record. This one is sure to boggle the mind.

Subscriptions are only $40 for six limited-edition, hand-numbered seven-inches delivered throughout the rest of the year.

2010 is the third year for the Volcom Entertainment Vinyl Club. Past years have seen limited-edition seven-inches of exclusive new music from the likes of HARVEY MILK, WITCH, EARTHLESS, RTX, MONOTONIX, VALIENT THORR, ANDREW WK, RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS, TWEAK BIRD, DARK MEAT, TURBONEGRO, HR (BAD BRAINS),RED FANG, ANCESTORS, GRAVEYARD and more.
