RUSH: 'Spindrift' To Be Released As Next Single

June 2, 2007

Contrary to previous reports, RUSH has selected "Spindrift" as the second single from its latest album, "Snakes & Arrows". The song "The Larger Bowl", which was previously thought to have chosen as the new single, may be released as a third single this summer.

The release date of the MVI (DVD Album) limited-edition version of "Snakes & Arrows" has been pushed back to June 26 due to "a handful of unfortunate yet unavoidable production delays," according to the band.

As previously reported, the DVD version contains the entire album in 5.1 surround sound and a 43-minute video documentary on the making of the album.

With a higher storage capacity than a standard CD, the Music Video Interactive Disc (MVI) contains new interactive features, including superior sound quality, a wide range of video features, and interactive digital content. MVI discs play in all standard DVD players, computers, and game consoles with DVD drives but do not play in conventional CD players. Digital music files are compatible with all MP3 devices.

"Snakes & Arrows" will be released as a double-LP via Rhino on June 19.
