RUNEMAGICK Part Ways With Guitarist, Record New Material

Guitarist Fredrik Johnsson has left Swedish "dark death metal" act RUNEMAGICK in order to concentrate on his instrumental/studio projects. Although he is no longer a full-time member of RUNEMAGICK, Johnsson will likely stay involved with the group as a studio musician, according to the band's official web site.

In other news, RUNEMAGICK are currently recording several new songs at the band's own Magick Sound Studio. One of the songs will be released on a split 7" vinyl later this year by Aftermath Music, while another may become available for download on the group's official web site as a demo version of a new song that will later be re-recorded for the band's next studio album.

Among the new titles currently being recorded are the following:

01. Eyes Of Kali
02. Eternal Dark
03. Doomed
04. Venomous Death
05. The Pentagram
