Romanian Metal Veterans Pay Tribute To DIMEBAG DARRELL

Several Romanian metal veterans, united under the name of M.S., recently recorded "Behind the Stone", a song in the memory of PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The composition, riffing and guitar solo were all conceived in the spirit of Dimebag's craft. An unmastered version of the track can be downloaded at this location or from the "MP3" section of the project's official web site,

The M.S. project features musicians that have been active in major Romanian rock and metal bands for the past 20 years: drummer Doru Istudor (ex-VOLTAJ), guitarist Cristi Luca (ex-METROCK), bass player George Costinescu (ex-TECTONIC), vocalist Damigeana (ex-VOLTAJ, QUARTZ), guitarist George Patranoiu (ex-ILLEGAL OPERATION, METROCK), guitarist Dan Himpa (ex-TRANSILVANIA) and producer Mitza Breazu (ex-NEUROTICA). The tribute song will be included on the forthcoming CD "A Breath of Fresh Air", to be released in February via Luxor Records.
